So.... I was not going to write this review but I am still annoyed from last night so here goes. I am not a fan of eating establishments that separate families. Allow me to explain. I was out with a best girlfriend who is now a single mom with two absolutely wonderful well behaved children. She had mentioned legendary and local talent, Diane Ward would be performing at 7pm so I decided it would be a nice treat for her.... We dropped off her children to a friends house across the street...we ordered a bunch of apps which were ok for bar food. One of her boys is very protective of his mother, so he would intermittingly check in on her and stay about 10 mins at a time. Divorce affects kids in ways we have way to quantify. Our waitress BJ kept kicking him out telling us "children are not allowed on the patio". I was confused. I am pretty familiar with state laws but I had to inquire further in case I was rusty. Urban legend has it that once upon a time a family came and the children were throwing sand around so now all children are banned from the patio area.... What??!!!! The child came one last time to ask his mom something and the owner must have been notified because she stood at the door, arms folded and when she spotted him, she pointed her finger to him (evil school marm style) and motioned for him to come to her. Said child was upset and stormed off. This place discriminates against children. So that was strike #2 for me. #1 was when BJ asked us what I wanted to drink - we didn't have menus yet so I asked her about the house wine. She spewed out the varietals and said they were all the same, to which I responded "What' s your house wine"? She went OFF about how they are a neighborhood bar and only have one type blah blah blah (there is a HUGE difference between BV Coastal vs Gallo etc this would be akin to having absolut over skol in a well). Its not like i asked for a wine list. You can usually gauge the quality of the establishment over these little indicators.... This BJ is REALLY rough around the edges. For a minute I thought I was in a biker bar. Strike #3 came when I requested the upside pineapple cake (a Chudd delicacy not offered in many restaurants) - and requested ice cream over it. She went off AGAIN about how they are a bar blah blah blah. Now I am REALLY confused. I think it is me until another guest at our table (a regular) half heartedly mentions how they boycott ice cream too.... He was trying to make light of the situation. THEN I find out the other owner was involved in politics and now there is a lawsuit involved. Just too much drama in this place for me. Heres a tip owners: Add ice cream and offer it to kids.

It's been years since I've been back to Miami Springs. Had lunch with my brother at Woody's. I ordered the steak sandwich. It was good but small. Looks like a nice place for diner.

Have been here twice. Very much an out of the way place. If you don't know the area you will need your GPS. It's a large restaurant. Seat yourself. Wish they would post that so I wasn't standing around waiting for someone to stop and seat me. The beer selection is pretty nice. Everything tends to lean towards the hoppy side though. I settled on a nice beer called Betchy Brown ale after sampling a few. The waitress BJ is a pleasure and helped me make my decision. Got the jalapeno poppers to start. They were crispy and served with some sort of raspberry jam. Actually worked well together. Finished up the food with a veggie burger and French fries. Can't go wrong with these (most times!) It was hot, and tasty and the fries were nice and crisp. Great food. Great beer. Awesome servers.

Everything I ever order at Woody's is good. Friday's and Saturday's it's a very busy place so come hungry but be patient. Live music outside on those days too.

Cozy neighborhood tavern. The service was prompt and friendly. The beer selection and quality excellent. The Martini was watered down though. The foods is tavern food. Mostly good but we did not like the seared tuna. Nice place. Recommended.

With the military flags hanging from the ceiling, proximity to the airport and casual vibe, Woody's could have been the bar at the end of Top Gun and I could have been "Merlin" (not "Maverick" because I don't have 20/20). Of course, their station wagon and surf board mural on the outside wall of TVs doubling as their DJ station parallels nicely with the west Dade waterfront canal next to the restaurant. I stopped by for a midweek BBQ dinner which I enjoyed. Nothing fancy, but my fries were crispy and the meat on my full rack of beef ribs was tender off the bone and glazed nicely. I tasted a sweet sauce with a sugar base mixed into the sauce. Soda refills were timely, and my waitress checked in twice during my dinner. TV's were plentiful and the crowd seemed laid back. I was told they have live music Friday nights, so I'll stop by after work sometime. Maybe I'll bump into my "Admiral's Daughter" out there :)

Great placed secluded in Miami Springs. The vibe and feel is as if you just arrived in the keys. It's an oasis in a crowded city. Visited for lunch with all teammates and had a good experience. Food was fresh and made to order (took some time, but was worth the wait). Everyone was happy with their options. I had the grilled dolphin sandwich and enjoy it very much. The fish was moist and properly seasoned. Given how satisfied we all were, Woody's now is part of our monthly rotation. Hoorah!

I've visited Woodys on several occasions, over the last couple years. As a new resident here, I've looked forward to enjoying the establishment, as a local. First, Woodys does a great job with the Dolphin Wraps. From what I've seen, that's the one food dish that they excel at producing. When it comes to Woodys, it's the location and liquor license that are the incentives to customers. The tap beers are cold and pricing is good. I recommend this spot, for grabbing a cold one after hours... That said, most of the food items are overrated, which is common with "local yocal" dives. The overall service is good, with attentive servers. During one of my visits, I was chastised for bringing an "illegal" Starbucks coffee, on the outside dining premises. Though I didn't have a problem with staff addressing the issue, repeating the word "illegal", "health department", and asking me how they're supposed to make money with my illegal action, was pretty annoying and below my expectations. Welcome to the Springs?? Yet another reason that fresh-faced, servers are a better choices for working tables, than slow dinosaurs, from a past era of service...IMO... ...and I'm an old dinosaur myself:) But it all comes back to location, cold beer, and outdoor seating. For food, Tom's NFL on 36th wins the battle. I'll be there for beer and snacks tho...

I've been going here since this place opened and I could honestly say it's the best bar in Miami Springs! Great food, great drinks, and affordable. The staff is very friendly and make you feel right at home. Wouldn't go anywhere else to watch a game or for dinner. Family atmosphere, great for hanging out with friends. I always have a good time at Woodys! It's a hidden gem!

The food was great and the waiters were super nice. Loved the jalapeño poppers! However, the food comes out super slow. Due to a small kitchen and apparent lack of staff, waiting time for something as simple as a beverage was much too long. Could just be that it's a Friday night though. Still a really cute place with nice live music and plenty of TVs.

  • Aaron B.

The chef knows his way around a kitchen. You won't be looking for more when you are finished. There is a fully stocked bar. All of their numerous tv's have sports on them. The radio is rocking the best from the 80's. The staff couldn't treat you better if you were family. If you enjoy a local sports bar then this is the place for you.

This place is a hidden treasure within Miami Springs! Customer Service here are so attentive, you want to come back! Reasonable prices, great atmosphere just to hang out! Chicken Wings here are yummy! :-)

This is a great local place if you are in Miami Springs and don't know what to do with yourself. The atmosphere is chill and laid back makes you forget you are in Miami, which is nice for a change. It has an island feel to it. The burgers are great. The service is on point. The TV and the outside seating with live band is a nice combination.

I came across this place when i got lost looking for an address a few days ago and decided I needed beer and food to continue functioning. I'm glad i got lost! I tried their bowl of chili and half rack of baby back ribs. First off, the chili is in the top 3 of of the best chili's I've ever had- not too much heat to over power the flavor of the beef. The ribs look like the baby back ribs you'd get anywhere else, but what made these special was the sauce they used. It had a bold smokey flavor at first, but then a tiny hint of sweet in there that only got better as I ate along. The place was packed at the time and it seemed like everyone around me was having either burgers or blackened dolphin sandwiches. I don't know Miami Springs too well since all, if not most, of the streets are just names with no numbers but I'd definitely come back here if I can find it!

Let's start off by saying that I wanted this place to be great. The food and atmosphere sounded superb on paper but were executed poorly. I ordered the dolphin sandwich and the woody steak sandwich to go. I was told it would take 25-30 mins. Upon arriving just 15 mins after ordering, my date and I were greeted by a waitress asking what it was we needed. I explained to two diffrent servers that I had ordered food to go, where they then casually bagged an order that was sitting on the pickup window only to then ask what it was we had ordered. She gave us the food that she verified was ours as we paid. It wasn't until I arrived home that I realized that not only was my order wrong even though it was verified by the server, but I was also missing a side item I very clearly ordered and restated to the person handling my order. Upon further inspection I noticed that all the food was cold and poorly prepared. Both sandwiches were missing the condiments that the menu stated were on the items. Long story short, don't eat here.

I love this place, perfect to watch a game with friends, been there a couple of times... Simple, down to earth people. The perfect hole in the wall (neighborhood) bar... If you go with a low key, open mind... this will be your place.

  • Meli L.

This place is definitely a NEIGHBORHOOD restuarant/bar. Woody's is the perfect place if you live NEARBY and want to have a drink or watch the game somewhere. If you live very far, I wouldn't go out of my way to come here. HOWEVER, if you are in the area and need a drink or want to hang out with friends, this place isn't bad. The food is pretty decent, but nothing out of the ordinary... Their appetizers are good and their salads DELICIOUS! My friends love their Mahi Mahi... Mixed drinks are great as well and a decent selection of beers... Oh and the prices are decent... No $15 Vodka Tonics here... :) They have outdoor and indoor seating... The place has a theme that I love... Beach and Surfin'... Outside they have 3 HUGE TVs... next to some surfboards and sand :) Friendly service and plenty of locals... Ok... Now I'm in the mood for a cold beer!!!!

I'm a Miami Springs/Virginia Gardens patron by choice, not convenience. So maybe I'm looking for something more than just local even though I can appreciate that too since after-all I am a foster-child of the neighborhood. Woody's is not sketchy like other spots in the hood. It's typical bar food, with a pool table, reasonable prices and a beach bar. That's right...there's tables outside with three big screens, sand, and two surf boards. But if you're here for the churrasco special that's less than 10 dollars with a side...be sure to come before 8pm because they ran out. This is a good time bar!

Treasure in the middle of Miami Springs. Small neighborhood bar but once you step inside, you're thanking yourself for trying it out. Good draught selections on tap and food is delicious. They even have grilled cheese sandwiches! Only negative is when large groups (10 or more people) decide to take the tavern hostage by scooping up each table and chair to accomodate their group. This happened to us for Game 1 of the Heat vs. Celtics in which a large group of 20 people came in mid-way through the 1st quarter and took up every table and chair in sight. What can you expect from the Miami Springs Mafia?

We have frequented this tavern over the years (been in business since 1947) before I was born...but, with several owners since my first visit there. We were never impressed until now. The current owner has changed it from a stinking cigarette wreaking bar into a nice smoke free restaurant that I would bring out of town guests to any day. My first visit there under the new ownership had me sitting out back in the newly created 'sandy beachy' area with multiple tables and big screen TV's if desired. Only until I had to use the ladies' room did I venture inside, where I was surprised to find a clean, smoke free, pleasant area to sit and eat, should the weather force inside dining. All in our party ordered different dinners, and we were surprised by the initial presentation. Beautiful white china and real cutlery. I was expecting paper plates and plastic wear. The steak cheese wrap was delicious, as was the chicken cheese wrap, the chicken breast with bacon and mushroom sandwich, and a friend who ordered a salad had a nice sized presentable looking salad. Onion rings and fries were also excellent. They have a good selection of beers on tap and bottled. The service was decent and the manager came out several times to make sure all was well. We went back a second time on St Paddy's Day where they had a street party with bands, big tent, food trucks and corned beef sandwiches. Although service out back was slow, the waitress did an excellent job without losing her cool, which would have been easy to do, given the crowds there. We opted to bring our own table and chairs because we knew there would be a huge crowd, and the management there had no problem with that. We will surely go back again!

This is a new neighborhood tavern in Miami Springs. With a sports theme catering to football fans, I would consider this the Cheers of the neighbored. The waitresses are friendly, the surroundings unpretentious. The menu has traditional American bar food, chili fries, ribs, burgers etc. What stood out? The smoked fish dip was fresh, corn dog nuggets easy to snack on while waiting for the main meal. I would pass on the ribs, they weren't home style cooked, more prepacked and reheated. My husband had a burger which he said was good and the chili cheese fries were plentiful. I believe on beer and wine are served at the moment. For a game of pool or if you want to sit outside with your dog, this is the place to come and hang out and hopefully after a few trips they will remember your name.

The draughts are ice cold, the wings were perfectly hot and the service was great. Aside from the homophobic racist d-bag sitting at the bar the experience was very satisfying.

I went to visit a friend across the street from this joint in Miami Springs. Good neighboorhood with a sweet bike path and canal across the street. Anyways, enough babbling. Lets talk about Woddys. VERY suprised about this place, didnt feel like I was in Miami. When you walk in you notice sport jersey memorabilia framed on the wall. Additionally you have around 8 flat lcd-plasma tv so you can view mult sports. Also the bathrooms , I guess they have a skateboarding/surf decor, cool concept. The service was great, both bartenders (lady and a younger woman) served us with a smile. At first didnt want to spend any money, my friend decided to pay. We had like 12 pints amongst 3 of us (It was a WHite pale ale or something, it was a special on the chalk board in front for only $2per pint!!) and an order of dolphin fingers. I didnt eat any of the dolphin fingers , but the person that did said they were good. The bill must of been around $20 or less. That was insane for a decent vibe and delicious beer (I drank 2 pints and got a good buzz, my friend drank like 4 of them and get a lil toasted). When I was leaving I was suprised to see seating outside with big screen tvs. Big suprise! Great place, will probably go there again! Highly reccommended.

Remember the old bars in the Springs, The Hunters Lounger "Where the Hunted Meet's the Hunted", The Cockpit, and then there was Woody's. Well all of these went there way side, except Woody's, it came back from the dead. Woody's not only died. but when it rose from the dead, it rose up bigger and stronger then ever. Just like Young Frankenstein, Heir Frankenstein goes by the name Fred Suco, he's the monsters keeper, and the monster knows the two step. The chicken wings are the bomb, the veggie burger makes me wanna vote as a democrat, the french fries, you would think the French invented the word WAR. Yes all this fooled me too, I then stepped outside, that's where Woody's answers all my questions. A Kayak, TV's galore, a plethora of outside dining and sand! Am I in Maui or just hoping to get out of Miami's sinister beings. Fred did the right thing and the back of Woody's reminds me of a 1972 Beach Boy's concert. So if your like me and you are, your favorite number is 31, why because it's the number of money. Your favorite beer is Stella, why, because Woody's sells it and Your favorite burger is a Boca Burger, why, well once again Woody's has them! Fred's a friggen genius, I used to be, but I realized Im not so smart!!!

I always give a place three tries, but the service here sucks. You come to a bar to drink beer, not sit at a table with empty glasses. But they do have a good selection of beer and the wings are ok.

Great neighborhood tavern! I almost felt like an outsider when I first walked in, what with everybody else apparently knowing each other... a total "Cheers" vibe. But the people are very friendly, and the staff make you feel right at home. The food selection is pretty good for a bar. I had the club wrap with fries; the wrap was great, the fries not as much. The beer choices are refreshingly varied, you can find your run-of-the mill staple brews as well as craft beers both on tap and in bottles. The atmosphere is fun, albeit unusual for a tavern. A plethora of TVs are scattered throughout the dining room as well as the outdoor area, which by the way, features a full wall of big-screen TVs for your viewing pleasure. If you can't find your sporting event on one of the displays, you probably shouldn't be watching that sport. I may not be in the Miami Springs area often, but I count this as one the top contenders the next time I want to go watch a game while knocking back a few cold ones.

Great place, Came here on a Saturday right when it opened and had Mozzarella Sticks and a Southwestern Burger, both were great! and sizable. My friends had a bacon-cheddar burger and a bbq bacon burger and both said they were awesome! I definitely recommend this place!!

The ambience is great here - but the food and drinks are terrible. I've been here three times and the food has been a disappointment each time. The burgers are overcooked and salty, even when I asked for medium well I got well done. The wings are supposed to be grilled but were undercooked. The nachos? Tortilla chips from a bag with Velveeta cheese drizzled on top. Disgusting. The beer is fine, but the cocktails are mediocre. It's really too bad, because it's a good looking bar and it has a nice neighborhood feel.

You can't go wrong with a place like WOODYS. It's as homegrown as one could get in urban South Florida. The menu is not complicated yet fulfilling. The staff has always been friendly and never "robotic" or generic in their service. They offer live music during the evening and it's always nice to see how people tend to gravitate towards each other for conversation. No egos, no frills food and quality service with a full bar. To me that's all I need. BTW, I drive from Broward county to eat here......

Great hidden bar at the end of the road, literally. When I get a craving for a burger there's no stopping me. Jumping ahead, the burger was Delicious! Cooked perfectly. The Dolphin fingers tasted fresh accompanied by tasty fries. The desserts could use improvement, but no one is perfect. The place looks great! Easy parking, plenty of TV's, nice spacious outdoor seating, and sports memorabilia all over the walls. You're probably wondering why only 3 stars with so many positive notes. Well truth be told, it's not the friendliest of places, although Andrea was nice to us, it seems like the local bar not very welcoming to strangers. I don't want to sound sensitive, because after all I'm here for good food not a hug. But in the hospitality business you have an obligation to ALL customers that walk through those doors. I felt like the only thing missing were those white pointy hats with the eyes cut out that they sell at KKK-Mart.

Great hang out. Appetizers are great. They have 1/2 price happy hour everyday. Live music on weekends.

Walked in for lunch and were greeted by two very sweet waitresses. Made us feel very welcome. Drinks came right away and were kept topped off through the meal. I got the buffalo chicken cheese melt with a side salad. Salad was small but fresh and nice. The sandwich (photo on here) was pressed with about three chicken strips, a lot (maybe too much) bleu cheese, and I don't think there was any buffalo sauce so I asked for a side of it. Tasted great and reasonably priced. Looks like a fun place for after work with a big outdoor bar and lots of TVs.

I stopped by for lunch the first time yesterday with 4 people from the office. We all ordered the same, the patty melt. It was good, fresh and very hot. Not the best one I had, but a top 10. The waitress started a bit rude but improved over time. The atmosphere was relax and lots of TVs defensively adds the sports bar look to the place. Here is what I don't like about the place, we sat inside and the extraction/ventilation system was not good at all. The doors had to be opened to get the smoke out from the grill. If you don't mind like your clothes/uniform!! smelling like a roasted chicken, then seat outside. I will return, this place deserves a second round.

Too expensive!! Especially the wings. The food here is Ordinary. I do like the TV set up. There are a lot of places around you that cook homemade dishes and better prices. Good luck

I have had this place bookmarked for a while and never had the time to come. But now I am glad I actually came. The staff is friendly and efficient. I LOVED the chicken quesadillas, they where amazing. The wings were also one of the best I have the meat felt of the bone, I got the garlic parm.sauce. The southwestern burger was delicious. I can't complain about anything because everything was cooked to perfection. The staff was great and my experience was excellent. Highly recommended over any food chain like flanni etc.

The review in parentheses was written at 1030 last nite. I also emailed them at the contact us on their website. Believe it or not it was read last nite b4 I left and the matter was addressed It is such a rare thing that a business REALLY cares about their customers. So I must change my review from a 1 to a 5 (I have been coming here since high school and love it. Brought my sister here to experience the good food and fun time. Well I got ice cold food and when brought it to the servers attention she copped an attitude. Are you kidding me??? Reordered my favorite blackened Dolphin fingers with side salad. If looks cod kill I would be dead so beware 1030 on a Friday nite listening to the band)

I am rarely in Miami Springs. I think it's been over a year since I had been out there, but I came to find out about Woody's while going on an organized road cycling ride. I was pleasantly surprised. They've got enough of a beer selection to keep most people satisfied, the food is solid, as is the service. The highlight for me is their cool shaded outdoor patio equipped with multiple large screen tv's. It's quite a unique set up. Check it out and see for yourself. You'll find an excuse to head out there again.

What a great place! I love coming here for a nice lunch or dinner. The atmosphere has completely transformed and this is now the greatest spot in Miami Springs to catch a game or have lunch on a nice day. Food and drinks are good, the only reason I didn't leave a 5-star rating is because I will never order the nachos again; Tostitos with gas station cheese and Pace salsa, those Tostitos make a reappearance with the fish dip too - but really, this is the only criticism I can give.

This new place in Springs is awesome. I've come here a few times and always go for their margaritas. I haven't tried any of their food yet, so I can't honestly say anything about it, other than I've heard it's great. I love the outside seating area. The beach sand and decor is really neat. I also love the insane amount of TVs out there. Definitely something on at least one TV for everyone out there. The staff is really friendly, too. Especially the bartenders (though those drinks are pretty weak, guys. C'mon now, those margaritas aren't cheap...you shouldn't be either!) Weekends get pretty dang packed, so I avoid it at all costs. If I feel like hanging out there during a weeknight, it's perfect and there's always a chair to sit at. On weekends though, I'd rather go to Bryson's (also in Springs) since their drinks are cheaper, usually stronger and there's always at least an outside patio table available.

Great place! This was my first time dining here. Stopped by to have lunch. Recommended by a friend. Hidden on the back roads of Miam Springs this is paradise. Stop by and get a drink at the full bar or have some of their delicious food. I will definitely be back.

Great atmosphere with friendly staff. Compared to a few years ago the new ownership/remodel has really upgraded the space. I usually order the melts and baked beans, winner winner. Enough TVS to catch whatever game your in to. Best Yeungling on draft you'll find anywhere!

When I was in high school, friends and I -- spurred by the Curtiss Mansion legend -- made our way across Curtiss Parkway about once a month hoping to catch a glimpse of that weekend's poltergeist only to be turned away by an apoplectic security guard. Since then, I haven't much ventured into Miami Springs. Really, I've had no cause to. Until now. Now, that's not to say that, since discovering Woody's West End Tavern sometime in 2012, I'm looking to buy property on the other side of the river. However, knowing that Woody's is there makes what I've always considered to be a rather dark and bland little corner of South Florida much more palatable. Woody's was constructed employing a really inviting open concept: the interior is devoid of any walls or counters (outside of the bar and bathrooms, of course), and the entryways lead to a ton of outside seating, including a very cool little patio area with a giant TV. I've only ever had the wings (shouldn't surprise you if you've read any of my other reviews), which are tasty and, while not cheap, are moderately priced. I think a basket of about ten is a little over ten bucks. Not great, but certainly not expensive. Woody's also has a broad selection of beers and comes equipped with a full bar over which (and really, in all directions) a number of TVs play just about every sport at every skill level. My only gripe (keeping me from giving it five stars) with this place is how early it closes (12:00 AM Sunday through Thursday and 1:00 AM Friday through Saturday), though I'm sure that's on account of its being located on a residential corner in Vanilla Miami Springs. Top notch and accommodating dive bar that proves great for a quick drink before heading elsewhere.

What's there not to like? The food is great. The alcohol is bountiful. And there's live music on Friday and Saturday nights. Plus there's an outside patio with many TVs perfect for Sunday football. Ask for Caitlin at the bar!

I ended up here super random a few Fridays ago. My friend Giselle told me about this place and met me up here for some drinks. Love love love the decor! They really did an awesome job with this place. Food is great & the blonde bartender is the most patient and sweetest lady ever. I ended to stating for hours. The UM band was playing, we all sat outdoors and munched on endless appetizers the whole night. This spot is a hidden gem & I'm totally coming here whenever I'm in the springs.

If you don't enjoy loud music sit inside, small hidden spot in Miami with one of the best grilled wings you will find. So if you just want to get away and not feel like you are in the middle of the same old happy hour, go here, relax, have a beer, eat some wings and listen to live music. Its quite a hidden gem.

LOVE THIS BAR! Maybe it's because I'm in my (late) 30's but I never even bother going to the beach when I visit family in Springs anymore. I just walk to Woody's and hang out. And with the new seating and tv's outside it's even better than ever. Pretty much everything I've ever ordered has been good but some favorites are the wings, ahi tuna, and the BBQ Pulled Pork Sliders. I wish I had a bar like this in my neighborhood at home.

It's the only place in the springs that the owner has invested a lot of money into recently, standard bar food (doesn't disappoint), decent beer selection, and a lot of Tv's, and funny severs! I will always support a business that invest in itself.

Cozy neighborhood tavern in Miami Springs. It is a great place to spend time with friends and catch up! I visited it one other time under the old management and was not impressed. Since the new owners took over the place was remodeled and looks great! I really liked the beach like patio. The staff is super friendly and treats you like a guest. The food is delicious. The blackened Mahi Mahi salad, chicken wings and churrasco were definitely top notch and reasonably priced. They proudly pour wide selections of bottle and draft beers. The special all day on Monday is all you can eat chicken wings for $7.95 and $2 domestic draft mugs. For the night owls- the kitchen closes at midnight! My friends that live in the Springs say that Woody's definitely beats the competition. If you are in the area stop by and see for yourself!

I've been coming to this spot long before it was Woodys West End Tavern. I lived in Miami Springs for 25 years & of all the bars this has been it's looking it's best right now! They've always had amazing food. I recommend hot wings & parmesan garlic fries! Mmmm! But seriously everything is good! Lots of beer choices (tap & bottled). All reasonably priced. They have specials everyday. Usually for food & beer. Tons of t.v.'s inside & out which they have no problem putting on which ever sport your into. The service is great! When I was a kid I dreamed about having a bar / tavern on my way to home after work, I've never lived in Manhattan, so the odds of fulfilling that dream in Miami were low, but then Woody's arrived into my life when I moved to the Springs, I have always wanted to love this place, I was even really excited when they remodeled, but at the end of the day it doesn't matter how many palms you plant in your backyard or new flat screens you put for your patrons if you just serve average food, average wine and average beer, you won't have my heart completely. What I would love to see from Woody's? 1. Amazing food, comfort food, common is not that hard to do, is not just about the grease its also the soul. 2. Imported draft beers, ok I know the average American just drinks Bud, but let's get a little global minded and serve Belgian, Irish or any other ones, if you really really can't because your red & and blue heart keeps you from doing this, lets be just a little hipster and serve Pabst please. 3. Serve hard liquor, common the city major gets drunk here on a weekly basis it can't be that hard to get a license...

Great atmosphere, but I went and simply ordered some wings for dinner. After 15 minutes, the waitress came back and asked me again what I ordered because she forgot. I finally received my food after another 35 minutes. The wings were decent, garlicky with Parmesan cheese, served with blue cheese dressing on the side. When I received the bill, after 45 minutes of waiting, they had the audacity to charge me $1 for the blue cheese. I consider that extremely rude, given that she never told me that it's an extra cost. I simply took $1 off her tip to cover the cost. Bad service equals bad tip, period. My advice, go for the beer, and pay in cash so you're not waiting an hour for food or to get your check. Stick to the $2 Landsharks on Saturdays.

The draughts are ice cold, the wings were perfectly hot and the service was great. Aside from the homophobic racist d-bag sitting at the bar the experience was very satisfying.

The seared tuna and jalapeño poppers are insane. Everything is good. Service is excellent, one of my fav spots in Miami Springs.

It's the only place in the springs that the owner has invested a lot of money into recently, standard bar food (doesn't disappoint), decent beer selection, and a lot of Tv's, and funny severs! I will always support a business that invest in itself.

Definitely a hidden Miami gem. This a very friendly local only place in a cute little neighborhood. Great food, I had the mushroom jack burger and wings both were great. Full bar with a good selection of beer.

Love this place so much that we come here multiple times a month. The food is great, the service is superb. Seems like is family owned and operated because of how great they work together. Awesome place to have wings beers and enjoy a great game. Surrounded by televisions
